    There is now a good selection of cafes and shops at Snells Beach. Crimson Coast Cafe and Little and Local are both outstanding for eating in. PizzaDon is good for takeaways. 4 Square supermarket is also very good, even has fresh sandwiches.

    Worst experience of my life, Jo is racist and terrible...

    Worst experience of my life, Jo is racist and terrible terrible host . She turned our power off for whole 1 hour. We thought it’s black out but other rooms had power. Toilet seat has piss stain and hot plate was so old it was rusted and button wasn’t even there. It also had hair on the bed. Place is too small and cramped. I would never recommend anyone to this terrible place.

    Friendly area. Good variety of eateries near by. Lots of places close by to visit. We enjoyed Cruise tonKawau island. Matakana and Warkworth. Visited chocolate company. Delicious chocolates. Little and Local in the nearby shopping area served a good evening meal. Guinness bar in Salty Dog was relaxed , good food and friendly vive

    It is very beautiful, new renovated and tidy place with very friendly staff on the side. I was with my mum who having mobility problem and we have been provided perfect room for her and let us to stay longer for late checkout. I highly recommend this place!it is 5stars of 5!

    Nice clean property with good facilities and a lovely view. It lacked an entertaining deck, but we booked two houses for our large party and the other house had a huge deck, so it was not an issue. All other facilities were very good. We found plenty to do in the surrounding area. The key code we'd been given didn't work when we arrived but a quick call to Bachcare got us the correct code. I'd recommend this property.

    Snells Beach is very scenic with white sand and Pohutukawa...

    Snells Beach is very scenic with white sand and Pohutukawa trees. It is lovely to walk along the beach. When the tide is out it is a long way to the water, and when the tide is in the water isn't that deep (but that makes it great for kids). There are a few takeaway shops, bakery, Indian restaurant and a pub at Snells Beach. Only a 10 minute drive to Warkworth and Matakana which have more restaurants and shops. Snells Beach is close to the Matakana wine region which has some quality vineyards (some you have to book to visit), and also breweries.

    We had a great stay. The accommodation was neat and well-maintained, with modern facilities that made our stay really comfortable. The coffee machine was a fantastic bonus. The area was peaceful, offering a relaxing environment. We also loved the location—just a short drive to Omaha and within walking distance to Snells Beach, which was perfect for exploring. Hosts were lovely and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

    Everything was fine, but in the off-peak period one cannot expect the usual late opening of the bar, breakfast etc. As my daughter lives very close this was not a problem, there is a good cafe about five minutes walk away in snells Beach, and on the odd times I met the staff they were very helpful. Overall, everyting was fine, and I will stay thre again on my next visit.

    When travelling to visit family in Snells Beach we always stay here. Great location close to beach and shops just across the road, other amenities very close and not far from Warkworth if you need many other stores. Staff have always been awesome clean tidy and comfy beds in rooms that are always a welcome to a traveler.

    One of the best motel rooms I’ve ever used. Extremely comfortable and well-appointed, with great water pressure (often hard to achieve in a hotel/motel). Very friendly and accommodating welcome, despite me arriving early.
