If only we could have stayed longer. Literally this is an oasis of tranquility after visiting the Fox and Franz Josef Glaciers. A beautiful, garden setting on the north side of Franz Josef. We sat out on the decking overlooking the pond late afternoon listening to birdsong. The rooms were amazing, spacious, well planned with a huge bed and large bathroom. We paid for continental breakfast and were very happy the selection.

The Terrace offers 4-star accommodation with an on-site restaurant. Located in the centre of Franz Josef, on a quiet street, The Terrace offers free unlimited WiFi and free onsite parking.

Our cabin was very neat, well kept for us till our arrival. There’s a main heater in the living area, a small one in the bedroom too 2 stoves available for light cooking, and a very clean bathroom Surrounding view is amazing, it’s all different from morning till night time There are 2 horses in front of our cabin from a different owner, fun to be watching them galloping around, nice experience indeed
