A lovely cottage in a quiet, countryside location with a view, own parking area and a small private garden with a picnic table. Our Hostess met us as we pulled up in the driveway, handed us the key and gave us a quick tour of the cottage. It was also super convenient to have our Milford Sound tour operator pick us up from the gate at the end of the driveway (rather than having to drive into town).

Our stay at Cabot Lodge was one of the highlights of our trip to NZ. It is a magical, idyllic location and our hosts Brad and Breidi and their team welcomed us with kindness and thoughtfulness in their attention to detail. The view from the room is spectacular. The staff is very nice and helpful. The kitchen is excellent, well equipped except the knives. The reception is cozy and warm with fireplace. The dining area is where all guests hang around and exchange some views.
