This is a tropical paradise! Lovely room - spotless. Beautiful deck near freshwater swimming. Duck ponds. Walked to bakery for delightful pastries. Brad was the best host - we wish we could have stayed longer!

    Nearby Puketi kauri forest walk; day trip to Oponone and Waipoua forest; Tauranga Bay peninsula half day drive; Kerikeri town centre with hanging baskets of flowers, and the stone store; Paihia and Waitangi trip with side trip to Haruru Falls if willing to take 6km hike. We self catered except for fish & chip lunch in Paihia (down the side road not the one on the waterfront) great value. Waipapa has no character; it is a convenient operating base avoiding need to encounter town traffic when going somewhere other than Kerikeri.
