Woodville is a wonderful small country Township, the people/locals are exceptional when it comes to hospitality. They have wonderful food prices especially Windmill Cafe, their food and prices are great and delicious. Awesome customer services in all of their stores.

Central hotel has the best quality food at their restaurant. Staff were lovely. Township has a nice country vibe with great shops to explore and buy from.Second hand antique shops and vege shop is amazing.

I would like a refund. There were bugs in the mattress and dust mites in the carpet! The owner said that they had never had complaints before..butbi really think the room needs to be fumigated. I was the only one staying in that complex. There is only one other motel in Woodville. I only booked inbthrough sheer necessity, but didn't sleep at all, because I itxhed all night. I had to move my bags into the shower but I still took some hitchhiking bugs with me@ What an awful experience

I was staying in Woodville for 2 nights to explore the surrounding area and it's walks including the Manawatu Reserve and Ruahine Ranges. I would highly recommend the Fish n Chip shop on the main street of Woodville, beautiful fish and yummy chips. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well as the locals and others I waited with outside. I felt very safe being a single female travelling on my own and the information people shared about the local area was very helpful for my trip the following day. I also had a very tasty fruit icecream from the shop just down from the Fish n Chip shop. I found Woodville a very peaceful, friendly place to stay. On the day I left it was bustling with people in the shops and eating at the local cafe.
