The guest house is run by two very hospitable and friendly brothers, who originate from the nearby village. The house was built by them in a charming and authentic Omani style. From its terraces there is a breathtaking view of the high mountains and village. The silence is welcoming to the soul. There are walks and hikes that can be taken starting from the guesthouse or the 2 minute steep drive to the village below. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathroom and shower are simple, clean and functional. Our supper and breakfast were homemade and delicious. The were served on one of the terraces. We would highly recommend this guesthouse to experience an authentic stay in Oman. Thank you very much for an unforgettable stay.

We had a wonderful stay! The view over the village is absolutely stunning. Getting to the hotel was a bit of an adventure, but definitely doable and worth it. The rooms were well-equipped, especially considering the remote location. The food was very good, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend!

The property is beautiful. It feels (as the owner hopes it will) like a home away from home. But it also feels like a calm and lush Oasis in the middle of the desert mountains next to a lively little city. Everything is a combination of new and/or well thought out, and it's clear Ahmed has taken great care to craft a wonderful experience for his guests. He's there when you need him but will leave you to yourselves otherwise. It's been a long time since I experienced this type of traditional Arab hospitality at a hotel (was my partner's first time experiencing it). Staying here was a delight. It's also a really convenient location -- about 50 minutes from Wadi Damm / 90 minutes from Bat/Al Ayn Beehives... 15 minutes from Misfat al Abriyeen... 40 minutes from Nizwa... and he's arranged so you can get really yummy local food delivered from a nearby restaurant.

It was a wonderful stay in Emina's guesthouse. Located in the old town of Haram, a small village, the property is a wonderful architectural gem with a fantastic roof terrace and great panoramic views of the mountains. The food is very lovingly prepared, I loved enjoying breakfast on the terrace. The room is beautiful, there are warm blankets, a very nice bathroom (with hot water) and I like the mix of modern and traditional. I was particularly impressed by the traditional beamed ceiling. The accommodation is easy to reach, there is a car park and is ideal for hiking or strolling through the beautiful (and huge) palm park that is directly adjacent. The accommodation is very safe and my every wish was met. An ideal place for travelers who want to stay in an authentic place. 5 stars and best wishes to Emina!
