This place was really amazing! Beautiful garden and wooden terrace with epic mountain view! But the best was the owner of the hostel, Elizabeth, she helped us with a lots of things and also she coocked for us delicious and healthy food from her faram. We absolutely loved it!

We went to Yovana for two nights in hope for a little break from the stressful trip we had. But after we got to know Yovana and the hotel we instantly fell in love with everything and stayed for 2 more nights! Her loving and helpful attitude made us feel so welcome! Every morning she made a delicious breakfast and all through the day she served us tea and coffee. She helped us organising a trip to Quochequirao (she can explain everything you need to know about the tour) and booked all the hostels on the way for us! We are so thankful to have met her and the beautiful Casa de Salcantay. We definitely recommend 100%, you will miss a great opportunity to have some wonderful days if you don't go here. There are collectivos from Abancay and Cusco to get there and back. In Cachora you can't find any ATMs, so bring enough money! We hope we see you again Yovana, muchos gracias por todo!

There’s not much to not like! It’s a few steps outside of town which means is quiet and peaceful. Pablo, our host, was delightful and very welcoming and accommodating. His spaghetti bolognaise was delicious, and his hospitality was amazing - we felt so welcomed and at home. The room was amazing - the bed was comfortable, the view was quite extraordinary and the front seating area was very relaxing. The water was hot and consistent and the wifi was very fast and stable.

The hotel has comfortable and warm beds, a nice deck with a view to relax on, a garden and a rustic design that suites the mountains. The wifi worked well and the hotel was clean. The caretaker Miguel was very friendly and happy to share information about the area and trekking options. He is also a great chef and prepares all the meals, using plenty of local ingredients. Tour and transport options are provided by the hotel.

We really liked the food haha ! The lomo saltado was excellent ! And the breakfast was really complete. We were so happy to get hot showers. The family is really kind. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

New, well maintained andean huts. Hot shower with towels included. Dinner and breakfast were both tasty and filling (but not huge). Pointing out the kindness of the hosts--I forgot some important items at the lodge, and they were happy to assist with sending them over to Aguas Calientes. Super appreciated!

Accomodation and food was good for me during the Salkantay hike. All pretty simple but enough to keep you going on your way.
