We had an amazing time in the small yet the great City of Ica. We walked the beautiful Huacachina Oasis in a vast endless desert and we road 4-wheelers up and down the Huacachina Dunes, which is a definitely a must. They also have a beautiful winery as well as Dune Buggies which we did 2 years ago and get me talkingabout the sunsets. Be careful of food poising when eating out in the town me and my partner had received terrible food poising and after looking at google reviews most restaurants in the town had numerous poising reviews. The town must have really bad water which the restaurants are using. I liked the view of the lake from the sand dunes however I wouldn’t stay here overnight a day trip is all You need. Make sure you get the sandboard tours. The restaurant right on the left side of the hotel Curasi has great drinks and food. the price is very fair, and the portion extremely generous. It is a very calm town almost everything will close around 11 pm on weekdays.. heard it gets crazy on the weekends. Enjoyed so much our time there.Guest review byRYANUnited States - 10.0

Great place for a little roadtrip! The Huacachina Oasis is just one of the best places I have ever visited. It is a very small place to relax, do a dune buggy tour with sandboarding and then going to the Islas Ballestas to take a boat tour. It was great!Guest review byNatalia - 10.0

Huacachina is a beautiful place (especially looking over the desert), we stayed 2 nights and managed to book several excursions in the 3 days we spent there. We also managed to visit Paracas with an excursion booked from the hotel.Guest review byAdam

All of the furniture is of a high quality, as they used to make it (it is heavy wood). TV in every room. 3 toilets !! Despite there being only a few apartments, there is someone here 24 hours a day to help with anything. Everything works (not a given for off the beaten track Peru). It's a wonderful space. Oh, and the location : it's in a gated community just to the side of town. All of that hectic down the road, but here, the birds sing and about 5 cars pass each hour.
