We really liked the location of the hotel a bit further away from the very busy parts of town, but close enough to reach the center and beach in about 10 minutes by tuktuk. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious and it was great to have a swimming pool.

Out of all the hotels I've stayed in, the staff here were not only the friendliest I've ever met but also the most helpful from start to finish. They helped us organise transport to the hotel from the airport and with travel locally and even recommended places for us to eat after long flight delays led us to arrive well after midnight. The breakfast selection was great too, and really enjoyable. We loved the room and of course relaxing in the pool area when we needed to recharge after all our exploring and adventuring. We couldn't have been happier with our stay.

will definitely come back to Speed 8. Very friendly staff, that helped us with everything we needed. We had to do late check in and Lyn received us there. the rooms are very clean and spacious which was very comfortable. Located 10 min walk from the beach and next to all the restaurants and bars in the main road.
