First of all, the property is near the road and it can be easily found. Second, the family room that I stay is very clean and cozy. What most important is the staffs! This place is local family-owned. The staffs were so nice, friendly and extremely helpful. I spent two nights there. At the first night that I arrived, I arrived very late around midnight. Before arriving, I called Evelyn, the manager of the hotel, asking for check-in late and for facilitation for whale shark watching + sumilon isand + Tumalog fall the day after. She did wait for us and arrange everything we needed. During our stay is Chirstmas Eve time, she and her family also invited us to taste the local food for Christmas. In addition, when we had to leave to other province, her husband also arranged the comfortable transportation for us in an affordable price. I would highly recommend everyone to stay at Melronz Inn hotel. Besides, this hotel only has two room. On the third floor has rooftop which is worth spending time.

It's right by the ocean. A gorgeous spot, especially in the mornings and during low tide. They DO HAVE WIFI, and it's an excellent one. On Booking it says no wifi, and they should really change that, as it's a deal breaker for many. My cozy, clean and spacious room opened up to the lovely rustic covered seafront terrace with rustic tables and chairs, a sunbeds and some hammocks. So chilled and nice. It reminded me so much about good old time Philippine travelling. Hard to find these places these days. It's worth to note that they have 2 entries on booking.com, so if you fall in love with the look of the terrace, but want a better room, then type JRM place in the search box and the 2nd entry appears with better, but not much more expensive rooms. The rustic place that appears first, has better rating, maybe because those rooms attracts a different clientel! Excellent location close to the bus stop and 7 eleven. Cold drinks for sale in the evening. BYO anything else. I didn't come to Oslob for the controversial whale sharks, but because there is so much else you can see on easy day trips. Buses are frequent and habal habals are so organized from the junctions to tourist sights, with fair fixed prices posted up. I ended up extending my stay, as it was so much to see.

Woaw....a very busy place. It was super nice to do this. A new check mark on my list. Tons of people, go early, as in early. We left the hotel at 6 and arrived at around 7 already tons of people. We got boat # 189 and there are 200 boats (walk ins) and there are like 100 numbers for online booking. 10 people per boat so image approx. 3000 on that day and they told us it was not so busy. Tourists pay $20.00 and locals$10.00. We rent a GoPro and the video files were not normal MP4 file, so it was a pain to find a way to convert them. All-in-all very fun event.

Whale Shark adventure was amazing & the process was very...

Whale Shark adventure was amazing & the process was very efficient & quick. Tumalog Falls was a nice next stop after swimming with the whale sharks. There are a lot of public transportation options and quite frequent.

Oslob is just a ribbon development along the coast road.

Oslob is just a ribbon development along the coast road. It took ages to find a place to eat in the evening. I stayed out of town but only 1 night, so..... Not pedestrian friendly. Some huge trucks en route to the port.

We enjoyed our time in Oslob. The people are great and very nice. It is village life, which makes it so much better than the cities. There are quite a few things to do, if you look for them. Or, it is a pretty easy area to just relax.

resort is peaceful and relaxing - beautiful sound of the sea. swimming at resort is tide dependent - or you can find shells whale sharks - local waterfall - easy to view in 1/2 day. (whale sharks are best early AM 5-6 ) nothing much to the city - all about the ocean. need a flashlight after dark on the road - cheap to ride trik

Love the double bed huge room an ocean view windows loved the staff very helpful and great food and customer service deft will be back again!! Even got great scooters on property you can rent in great shape used one 8 days had a blast loved that you can walk out back down into the water an go swimming found sea stars and crabs and other fish snorkeling 🤿

The hotel is located right over the water, allowing you to walk down the steps, straight into the ocean. It’s also very close to the centre of Oslob town, so easy walking distance to restaurants and the 7-ELEVEn. The room was big and clean, with amazing air conditioning. The staff were really friendly and helpful, helping us to arrange our tour to see the whale sharks and providing advice on transport to our next destination.

Location...if you're staying in Oslob, you'd be hard pressed to find a better location. Absolute waterfront...swim and dive in front of your room. Large room with all the required basics for long or short stay. Rooftop balcony for those sunrises and sunsets. Close to shops.

Owner was Lovely Helped us with transportation and Tried to help us with the Whale sharks over the festive period. Nice place to sleep , Nice touch had two hammocks outside. And Paddle boards you can rent for 50 pesos. Very Nice Place to stay In oslob.
