    Place is very remote -- 4 hours from the airport and 45 minutes to the nearest mall. There are many scenic waterfalls in the area. A few historical sites but I found it rather disappointing in that regard. There's a beach but we never went there so I can't say much. we booked a tour to Oslob and moalboal which took all day but was fun -- my girlfriend absolutely loved swimming with the sharks. There are no fancy restauranrs. If you're looking for a remote, provincial area, Samboan is perfect for you. If you're looking for big city attractions, not the place.

    It was a rainy day so the travel is not pleasant nor bad.

    It was a rainy day so the travel is not pleasant nor bad. But, when we arrived at the place it’s relaxing. The view from our room was great. At 9 pm all is quiet. The only sounds you’d hear were coming from nature. Such a lovely place to unwind. Highly recommended.
