Chełm is rather a small but so much cozy town! It doesn't have skyscrapers which makes it so pleasant place to stay in. It still has cathedrals and sanctuaries, an old town, and nice community houses. A variety of shops offer groceries and anything else you need. Chelms is a charming small city with a lot of history. It is surprising that a city of only 64k has a museum with 3 buildings. A wonderful quiet city with beautiful old architecture and a variety of quality restaurants to visit in the very center of this charming historic town. Beautiful churches, chalk underground museum is a must attraction. We loved our stay. Chełm is a very quiet and beautiful city.
Chełm is a very quiet and beautiful city. All the houses there look quite old, so you can enjoy the architecture everywhere as there are no modern multi-storey blocks of flats. It gives the feeling of space, which you lack in larger noisy cities. Everything is in the walking distance. What surprised me most was that all the shops close at 5-6 pm. My first impression of Chełm is that this city is for rest not for noisy entertainment.Guest review byOlenaUkraine
