On Saturday and Sundays there is free parking in the cities center, lots of restaurants. When visiting Jasna Gora be in time, the parking is nearby but it can be very busy meaning you'll have to walk a substantial distance. I know city well , recently come back but city became quiet over the years . Plenty of good restaurants , cafes and bars in close center .Big Jasna Gora church worth to visit. Its a religious trip for most but man, dude, I think the rest of the city needs some revitalization. If you are not there to see the church bs then that place is a bit depressing if Im honest. Apparently the church next to the hotel is an important place for religious people to visit. We were only passing through and stayed for one night - it was winter, dark and wet and the town didn't look very appealing. There are two completely different worlds: The modern luxurious hotel (Arche) and the old run-down Soviet Union style town. The town looked dismal with terrible roads full of huge waterlogged potholes. Maybe the town is a better place in summer. Hotel Arche is an excellent hotel though.Guest review byTerttuFinland - 8.0
We went to see the church with the Black Madonna.
We went to see the church with the Black Madonna. It was a long walk from the hotel but I guess that is part of the ritual. The park by the church is very nice and you can spend an afternoon there.
