There’s just a special atmosphere about the place.

There’s just a special atmosphere about the place. Nice just to wander around enjoying the sights and sounds. Also, if you’re feeling a little more adventurous, there’s plenty to see. The Salt Mines. Zakopane region. And if you’re not feeling quite so adventurous there’s the Underground Museum which is literally under the Main Square. Or five minutes from there, the castle and the river.

The main square and old town are very picturesque, away from the beautiful square, peaceful, clean and a feeling of safety A stroll around the green area the Planty, which circles the the old town, is very enjoyable. A must visit to Auchwitz, which is an hour away, is complicated because of how busy it is. If you book on line with a tour operator, with a hotel pick up of 8.00, they contact you through day before and change the pick up to 4.00. The reason is, even with a ticket bought before, you have to go with a guide. There can be a 2 - 3 hour wait for one, even longe, if you want your own language.

Krakow is beautiful, very cheap to eat out and get around.

Krakow is beautiful, very cheap to eat out and get around. A very good tram system, great taxi company called bolt, and to learn the history, well worth the golf buggy excursions. Book everything with get your guide app, cheaper than just walking in anywhere and they do tour guides on virtually everything. If you love Indian food, gate of India in old town is a must, excellent food , very friendly staff and reasonably priced. We visited austwich and salt mines, castle, Jewish quarter, old town, ghetto and still loads more to see and do. We will go back and do more.

We loved our stay in Krakow!

We loved our stay in Krakow! So much intriguing and thought-provoking history among the three areas, beautiful and fun restaurants, cafes and bars, wonderful walking city. The 3-area golf-cart experience to introduce us to the city was an intimate and exceptional experience and worth every Zloty! Devote plenty of time to wandering the old streets and alleyways of Kazimierz, visit the old temples, see the interior of St. Mary's Basilica as well as views from the tower. See the unusual horses drawing carts in the Rynek Glowny Central Square. We can't recommend Krakow enough!

Krakow is a very beautiful city, extremely clean and friendly people. We are both pensioners and visited Monday to Thursday in September, which we found was good for us. I would say, visit you will not be disappointed. So much to do without leaving Krakow.

This is the perfect hotel if you are attending an event at the ICE Krakow Congress Center. It is located just on the opposite side of the street. Buses and trams can take you to the city centre, and although you might get a room facing a busy street, those windows are very good for reducing the noise. You can barely hear anything from outside. Also, the Vistula River, with a gorgeous Wawel Castle view, is within a 5-minute walk. 24/7 Carrefour Express convenient store located less than 100m away.

I travel to Krakow on the regular basis and I have stayed in a number of hotels, but this hotel is one of my favourite. Great location - right next to the shopping centre, train station, coach station and old town is 5 mins walk away. Rooms are very nice and clean. Large bathroom with both a shower and a bath. Really nice restaurant on the ground floor. The reception staff are very welcoming and helpful. I loved my stays here and I will definitely be back.

The location of the hotel is outstanding - just around the corner from the main square in the Old Town (and Christmas Markets), and only a twenty minute walk from the fabulous Jewish Quarter. Breakfast at the hotel is also fantastic, among the best I've ever seen in a hotel. We were also offered a free upgrade on our room. We will definitely be back next time we go to Krakow.

Best place to stay when in Krakow.. helpful staff, plentiful varied breakfast, comfortable rooms (the comfort room i booked had coffee machine & fridge!), quiet area at night too, great location - 5 min walk to centre of Old Town. Overall everything you'd want from a hotel! (I didn't have dinner in hotel, so can't comment on that.)
