We had bad weather so was not possible to enjoy outdoor activities. We had hiking in the area in mind. Also all hotels should have easily available information for tourists if Krynica wants to benefit from them. Those from abroad may have issues with using Internet. Pamphlets would help. Plenty of facilities, shops and eateries around Krynica.
Plenty of facilities, shops and eateries around Krynica. High-quality restaurants, nice parks, facilities for children - slides at the top of Parkowa Góra hill, cable car to Jaworzyna Krynicka, chair lifts all around, nice promenade in the centre of the town, the boulevard goes along the creek and splits into two. Absolutely amazing place with old architecture, lots of good restaurants. Fantastic place for bikers and hikers wit very good infrastructure, lifts, bike trails in summer and ski in winter. Jaworzyna top with amazing panorama and springs in the town center with mineral water. You can get there by train from Krakow were the international airport is. Journey is 5 hours. Krynica is a spa town nestled in the mountains.
Krynica is a spa town nestled in the mountains. It is famous for its mineral waters and healthy air. The main town is pretty small - a prominade more than anything - but you can walk out of town in all directions and find some interesting views. There are a lot of hiking trails and Nordic Walking trails for those who are more mobile. It is a great place for walking, skiing, sitting around and relaxing. There are some good restaurants and bars in the town. For me, the most interesting sites are the buildings.Guest review byCatherinePoland

Ideal please for runaway and relax truly. I have spent 1 night there and got massage and face treatment in the evening, very nice dinner (with good choice of vegetarian dishes) and then morning in the SPA (pool with the view and oudoor terrace with jacuzzi) plus very good breakfast.
