We went specifically to see and participate in the 'Boze...
We went specifically to see and participate in the 'Boze Cialo' procession event, beginning and ending at the Basilica. The men, women, and children parading around the city in their native dress was a beautiful site. This day is a national holiday in Poland and that is when you should go to Lowicz. It is the date of the Corpus Christi commemoration in the Catholic Church, so the date will change every year, based on when Easter falls. The ethnographic museum in the town is also very interesting and worth going to see. Had an excellent meal at the restaurant Powroty in the Stary Rynek, also at the Polonia Hotel restaurant.Guest review byJeanneUnited States - 10.0

The main tourist attraction in Łowicz is the Old Market Square with the historic town hall, the former Primate's Collegiate Church and the museum located in the former, baroque Missionary Priests' Building.
