The SPA is impeccably clean and offers everything you might need (towells, bathrobes, drinking water). The rooms are quiet, and both the bed and pillows are exceptionally comfortable. Always on the Move

A city on the move, Warsaw is constantly changing in an effort to rebuild what was lost during World War Two. There’s no better example of this than the stunning Old Town Square, where pastel facades sit alongside dome-topped spires.

Starting here is the Royal Route which passes several historic buildings on its way out to Wilanów, where an ornate Royal Palace is set in a huge park that was the retreat of kings since the 17th century. Just as grandiose is the Palace of Culture and Science, Stalin’s gift to Warsaw that still manages to evoke feelings of hatred and love in equal measure. Go up to the terrace for panoramic city views.

Other cultural offerings are the Warsaw Uprising Museum, considered the best museum in Poland, and traditional bars that still serve down-to-earth food washed down with a shot of vodka - a throwback to the Communist era. Don’t expect to find a seat though – there aren’t any.

Warsaw also has a thriving club scene and more shopping centres than you could throw a stick at. Not that you’d want to, as you’ll be too busy picking up the bargains.

Just outside the city is Warsaw Airport, efficiently linked by public transport to the city’s hotels, guest houses and hostels, available on Booking.com.

    many things to see, 4 full days is enough for the main attractions. There's more to see up to maybe 6 days. Distances are long and the bus stops are spread around large intersections. Allow time to locate them. Public transport is decent. Driving here is madness.

    Warsaw is absolutely amazing modern city with a great vibe. There is so much history to see. City is very clean and safe with superb public transportation! Metro/ Subway is out of this world. Must visit Metro library (Metroteka) People were very helpful and friendly. Muzeums are great and there are so many of them. I love bike lanes in Warsaw. I used uber app to pay for scooters 🛴 which was my main source of transportation around the old town and downtown. Many attractions, many great parks. There are so many food options I stayed with Polish food and it was always a hit. City is somewhat affordable and Warsaw never disappoints.

    Clean city and we felt safe. The transportation network is awesome and one can get everywhere quickly. Using google maps together with the public transport worked seamlessly. Some beautiful monuments, parks and museums to visit.

    I went to Warsaw at the end of 10 days in Poland, and it was...

    I went to Warsaw at the end of 10 days in Poland, and it was a great way to cap off the trip. I was really only there for 36 hours. For me, at the end of a long week, it was the right amount of time. I spent all day wandering the old market area, enjoying a beer in the cafe, stopping for coffee, and just taking the day slow. The Dom Sztuki Lodowej shop in the market was particularly outstanding for grabbing all the cultural craft goods and souvenirs. In the evening I wandered over to the Palace of Culture and Science and made my way up to the viewing platform. Getting the full view of the city was a great way to close the week, as it was a great reminder that 10 days in Poland was only scratching the surface of all this beautiful country has to offer.

    Warsaw is unique considering it was obliterated in WW2 and was essentially rebuilt. So, amazing the Old Town has old world charm. The POLIN musem was the only one I had time for and was incredibly good. Definitely one of the top historical museums in the entire world. Before traveling to Warsaw, recommend seeing the movie The Pianist, if you haven't.

    The breakfast was exceptional, we loved it, very hard to find a better breakfast at a hotel. Location was very good. Warsaws main train station only a short walk. Tram stop to Old Town directly out front of Hotel. There was a gym on the 31st floor (came with the room cost), that offered a fantastic view of Warsaw and a Sauna as well . Hotel was very clean and well staffed. There was also an incredible Restaurant around the corner about 200mt from the hotel, that had the best Polish food.

    Mecure hotel is the No1 in my heart from 8yeats ago when I first time lived in this hotel. So whenever I went to any other city in Poland, my first choice is mecure hotel. This hotel is located at center of warsaw, very convenient and outside looks grand. And equipment from hotel is completely satisfied by the need of clients. Only the internet connection is not good. And the room is bit cold because the client can not change the temperature of air conditioner.

    Great location in the center of Warsaw. It takes like 30 minutes to old town by walking or if you plan visit Nocny Market, it also takes 25 minutes by foot. Great value to have parking available in underground garage, although it costs you extra. Great breakfast! Nice modern hotel in quite fancy location, lot of activities and places to be nearby.
