Restaurants were great - from beer company to tacos and Nacho Libre to the food trucks. All were delicious and reasonably priced for Puerto Rico. The coffee trucks in the morning is where its at for coffee. Also, check out the wandering Bagel!!! You won't be disappointed. Getting around is easy if you have a car which you likely do if you came from San Juan. We didn't stay downtown Rincon, but just outside about a 10 minute drive close to Steps Beach, where lots of surfers hang out. The downtown itself seemed very lively and there were some good restaurants that catered to different tastes and different price points. The beach in Rincon itself was quite large and wide and it had fine, yellow sand and beautiful sunsets. Lots of people gathered there to watch the sun go down. Swimming there isn't the best because of the coral just off shore, but the location is great - in a quiet neighbourhood yet close to town and grocery stores. The staff were amazingly friendly.
