    Almograve is a beautiful town close to an amazing beach.

    Almograve is a beautiful town close to an amazing beach. The town itself was smaller than the surrounding towns with less amenities , like restaurants to choose from, but we were only there for one night so it was fine. We walked down the road to the beach to enjoy an amazing sunset. The weather was beautiful while we were there. ,

    Had two nights here.

    Had two nights here. Quiet village, the beach and beach bar made it worth staying the extra night. The hostel is in a side street very quiet two minute walk to a cafe/grocery store. Five minute walk to the beach.

    Beautiful sleepy little Portuguese village .

    Beautiful sleepy little Portuguese village . We wished we'd booked for two nights here as we didn't get to sample the local beach and the area around was worth of so much exploring. There is a coastal path which we would explore next time. We will come back!

    Brand new hostel in a quiet street which is spotless and has a great kitchen and lounge downstairs. The dorm room is a little cramped and the shared bathroom downstairs from it which makes a night time pee an ordeal. They offer a nice enough breakfast and a service forwarding backpacks on to the next stop on Rota Vicentina if too tired. The outdoor areas are nice and the village of Almograve and beach are worth visiting.

    We booked the bigger room with the kitchenette and it was great as it had a little more space with fridge, kettle and such. Good breakfast option served nearby at Almograve Beach Hostel for Eur 9. Proper hairdryer. Clothes drying line outside under a roof (good since it was raining during our hike). Self checkin with safe box.

    Great host, nice and quiet place to stay. The house has two bedrooms, each one with a private bathroom. I was travelling solo but for a couple price-quality would be ideal From Almograve to Zambujeira do Mar was one of the most beautiful parts of the Fisherman's trail!

    Very nice and quiet rooms and very friendly owner. There is a water kettle and coffee maker for everyone to use and they offer free tea and coffee. Great accomodation in Almograve.
