Aveiro is a great place with plenty to see and do. Many lovely places to eat and drink. We stayed for 10 days but I think 7 would have been enough. Must not miss a visit to Costa Nova with the gorgeous coloured houses, also a boat ride is a must. Aveiro is a pleasant town with a nice canal running through the middle. A guided boat tour is reasonably priced and worth doing. It is a short drive Nazare but my GPS could not find the location. Great for a few days . Boat trip interesting but fairly limited. Interesting little Art Nuevo museum . Costa Nova beach really worth a visit . Pleasant bus ride there - very cheap fare. Very clean and friendly city. Never felt rushed or crowded. Loads of places to eat and/or drink. Not expensive either. Easy to walk around. Close to the coast, Costa Nova is a village that is part of Aveiro. Would pay extra for taxis to and from Porto airport unless travelling individually, as a couple or group of no more than 4, then cheaper by metro and train.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
We loved Aveiro.
We loved Aveiro. We spent 3 days and it was the perfect amount of time to see everything. We would recommend the tuk tuk rides. We had a super college student guide and he was fantastic with our 10 year olds. We loved all the little restaurants, very high quality food, fantastic atmosphere.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Aveiro is beautiful, relaxing place, great atmosphere. You should also visit Costa Nova if you have the chance since Aveiro is quite small and could be done in one day. Don’t miss out the boats on the canal, it is a good ride.Guest review byCarmenSpain

Lots of amenities, a sizable kitchen with appliances, a spacious bathroom, a comfortable bedroom and beds and a terrace. Very good location - close to canals and public free parking, in the center in close proximity to all restaurants and stores. We reached everywhere on foot.
