Fabulous. The one bed apartment has all the facilities you need, smart TV, lots of space and the small pool is beautiful. Private gated car parking in front of the apartments made it perfect for motorcycles. The owner met us and showed us round and was available to answer questions. It’s just a short walk into the town centre with a couple of small supermarkets and plenty of bars and restaurants. The breakfast provided was amazing!! Warm scrambled eggs, several warm pastries, bread rolls, ham and cheese, yogurt, OJ. We didn’t need to eat out at all! Totally recommended

We loved everything: the warm welcome, the explanations about the place, and the friendly hosts. It's a tastefully designed boutique hotel, with super clean and luxurious room.     A cute little place with every facility... I cooked on the induction hob and in the oven, lit the log burner and used the washing machine. The bed was the best thing! It was comfortable with cosy fleece sheets as the nights could be a little bit chill. The electric shower was great with plenty of hot water. The walk into the nearby town of Coja via the ribeiro was my daily meditation. Although it had rustic features, this place was immaculately finished with modern details. Perfect!

    Vila Alva is a beautifully refurbished traditional house close to the centre of Coja village. The rooms are large and spotless and the owner was very accommodating and responsive to our needs. The breakfast provided was extremely generous and very tasty. You could not of wanted for more.
