not so big town, with great and wide sandy beaches, good choice of restaurants and bars for all tastes. i was staying here in September, so it was not very crowded. whether you enjoy relaxing on the beach, or long walks along the beach - this place is perfect. in addition you can take public transport from here to nearby places - it is convenient and reliable way of getting to Lisbon, Sintra, Cascais etc.Guest review byemolendaPoland - 10.0

The place for surfing, sun and beach life. Several kilometers of gorgeous sandy beaches and nice waves, suitable also for the beginning surfers. All the necessary services are available. This is defintely a beach town.
This is defintely a beach town. I was there in the "off season", although my visit spanned New Year's Eve and there were a lot of day-trippers. Not sure I'd enjoy the place as much as I did during peak season. I was lucky to find on-street parking close to my hostel. I would not recommend having a car here in the summer. If you need anything she is super helpful and it is like staying in her house rather than at a hotel. Would not recommend for someone with allergies because of the many scents used in the house, but other than that the house and the design is very much like the pictures.
