The home of suckling pig and espumante!
The home of suckling pig and espumante! A great place to visit to try Portuguese sparkling wine and leitao. Also, an easy train journey or drive to Coimbra and Aveiro, and a 40 minute drive to Costa Nova with its incredible strippy houses and beautiful beaches. We at at Salpoente in Aveiro and Pedro and Ines at Quinta de Lagrimas in Coimbra, highly recommend both. Also visited Caves Sao Joao - a MUST visit. Also at night, it’s very calm and peaceful. Slept very well. Dona Paula was really nice and supportive. Even though I can’t speak Portuguese well, but I understood that she wants to help her guests with her maximum effort. Exerior of building might seem to old or in construction, however inside of the hotel is fine. Bath tub was really good to take a rest. Breakfast was simple but full enough for my caminho.
