Amazing breakfast with the breathtaking view. The room is nice with a balcony. Towels were changed every day during cleaning. The pool and jacuzzi are free. The sauna is acceptable for a small charge (5 euro). Also I mentioned that Icome for my bday and a bottle of champagne was waiting me in the room, it was super nice! The staff are incredible kind and profeccional!

Such a pretty house and very spaceous. So many bedrooms, pretty little garden and nice balconies. AMAZING VIEW. Has a huge garage too. The drive here was so beautiful, it is easy to find and keys were in a lockbox at the entrance. Hosts are very nice and helpful, felt a warm welcome. Has all the essentials and a very well equipped kitchen. I stayed here alone, it is definitely fit for a larger group was very comfortable for me and my smallest ever car, it was comical to drive the little fiat 500 in the huge garage. Also, the house is pink! So cute. Lovely stay, the location is amazing for people who prefer remote places out of city and tourism. There also goes a bus right by, so it is easily accessable even without a car.

Truly luxury hotel atmosphere. Inpeccable service Good location, 10min walk to city center (uphill on return walk). Ocean view room had all the aneminities one could expect. Cosy boutique hotel, perfect for exploring Funchal on foot as everything is just around the corner. Very kind and professional staff, spledidly clean room and hotel area. The design of the hotel is very beautiful and modern. Breakfast is a la carte, great for those who like slow mornings.

We loved everything about the property. Our suit was spacious, clean, gorgeous views. As there are not too many suites it felt very private. We spent hours at the infinity pool and jacuzzi. It was a perfect after hike stay.

    The staff were extremely helpful to make special arrangements for us The rooms and view unbelievable!! I am not sure if it was at the hotel we contacted a vomitting virus but as soon as we got home we had it for several days. I guess this is very infectious and difficult to control

    Curral das ferreiras is very quiet, peacefully and tourist friendly.Ideally if you want the quiet after a day from touring the Island . Definitely you need a car to travel to other places in the Island . We stayed there 3 nights of our holiday that was perfect.

    Location was beautiful, in the quiet Curral das Freiras. The accommodation was very spacious, and the perfect get away, with great access to nearby hikes into the mountains, and spectacular views. It was comfy place to return, and relax, with great facilities to cook our food, and enjoy the area. Also a huge thank you to the owners as I had lost my AirPods, and they kindly messaged me to let me know that they found them, and I was able to pick them up a few days later. Overall a great place to stay, I highly recommend :)

    The apartman is very well situated in the middle of village named Curral das Freiras. The whole building is after full reconstruction and therefore the apartman is equiped with the latest modern style furniture and electric devices. We lived on the second floor. I would recommend this apartman for families with enthusiast hikers because it's reallly great starting point. Mrs. Isabel is very polite and she helped me with all my quires. Thank you!

    The view from this place is incredible. I'd recommend it to a small group (2-4) who plan to spend most of their time outside. Curral das Freiras is a lovely area and there are three outside terraces with amazing views. Owner communication was good.
