I recently had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable hotel, and I must say, it was an experience beyond compare (considering the money). From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of unparalleled comfort and warmth. The staff at your hotel are truly the heart and soul of the establishment. Their commitment to providing exceptional service was evident in every interaction. Friendly, attentive, and always ready to go the extra mile, they made me feel like a VIP from check-in to check-out. Kudos to the entire team for their outstanding hospitality! The rooms were nothing short of spectacular. Spacious, elegantly furnished, and equipped with every conceivable amenity, they redefine the meaning of comfort. About the breakfast – a delight that set the tone for each day of my stay. It was very efficient breakfast full of fresh Island products. The bathrooms were a marvel in themselves. In conclusion, this hotel has undoubtedly set a new standard for excellence in comfort and hospitality. I cannot recommend it highly enough to fellow travelers seeking an exceptional experience. Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so memorable. Probably the best accommodation I have ever booked. Everything was perfect. Beautiful furniture, beautiful calming views, sweet neighbourhood, 5 min from amazing lakes, the best breakfast ever with fresh local products. Best of island memories.

Villa Anna Splendid Sunset Ocean Front is a true paradise on earth. From the very first glance off the terrace, we were left breathless – the ocean stretches endlessly before you, and every evening it transforms into a living canvas of the most magnificent sunsets one could ever imagine. Mornings began with gentle yoga on the terrace, with nothing but the sound of waves and the feeling of a new day being born with fresh energy. A swim in the saltwater pool felt like bathing in the sea itself, yet in complete privacy and comfort. Each day we looked forward to Anna’s breakfast – not just a meal, but an experience prepared with love, setting the tone for the entire day. Alex became our invaluable guide – his tips and advice led us to places and moments we would never have discovered on our own. And then came the evenings… moments when we sank into a lounge chair and simply gazed at the stars as they lit up over the ocean. It was a time of pure peace, harmony, and connection with this magical place. Villa Anna is not just accommodation – it is an experience that etches itself deep into your heart. And it is one of the very few places where we can honestly say: we will most certainly return.

Our stay was truly wonderful. The cabin is beautifully decorated and very comfortable, the attention to detail in every corner is evident. The hot tub is a great way to unwind the day, breakfast was delicious. Would love to return one day, highly recommend.

I stayed in the Country Suite for 1 night, the room is beautifully decorated and had a helpful book about São Miguel Island with recommendations for restaurants and places to visit whilst on the Island. I also liked the bath salts and the reduction in plastic for the toiletries. The villa and area is peaceful and is only about a 10 minute drive from Sete Cidades, Mosteiros and Feteiras.

    BLACK MOULD AND DAMP IN PROPERTY - AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

    BLACK MOULD AND DAMP IN PROPERTY - AVOID AT ALL COSTS. As soon as you walk into the property, there is a VERY strong smell of damp/mould. It meant I couldn't sleep properly for the 2 nights we were there and I actually had breathing problems for days afterwards. There was a huge dehumidifier in the kitchen and it had also recently been re-painted so the owners know of this issue and still are accepting paying customers, which is terrible as it's a health hazard! We let the reception know and what they offered as an alternative accommodation was not relative. Also we only had 3 days on the island so didn't have time to be researching alternative places to stay. It was the morning so we'd opened all the doors to get rid of the smell. At night when all doors and windows were closed, the smell was unbearable and we felt trapped and unsafe. I would NOT recommend staying in this property at all. Anything positive about the property is negated by the black mould and smell of the property.
