A remote location, great for walks and fairly close to a couple of small towns by car.... which is needed. The sound of birds during the day was lovely. The view over the hills, the sound of farm animals... such a great place to unwind.

What a wonderful surprise at the end of my long road trip! The Quinta is extremely pretty and the attention to detail superb. Spotlessly clean with a good size room and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was varied and plentiful and the staff were very pleasant. The views from the hotel grounds are spectacular and I highly recommend a visit to Quinta Do Vau.
