this was THE BEST hotel of our trip in portugal. Amazingly nice staff, beautiful property, and the most delicious breakfast you can imagine. Dinners in the restaurant were excellent too. Great location for exploring Douro Valley as well. We are dreaming of going back!

Beautiful and comfortable rooms. 4 minutes away on foot a churrascaria (grill restaurant) serves fantastic meat dishes mainly for the locals. Very good breakfast. In summer, 3 minutes away there is a perfect spot to observe the setting sun over the mountains.

Location is amazing! Its in the vineyards. Stuff was very friendly. Lady from the reception booked a dinner for us in the near town, we just chose a place from a list of her recomendations and she did a call. We had a wine tasting in the property. Same lady explained to us about Douro region and wines. There is a walking track in the vineyards with QR codes. Breakfast was amazing.
