I absolutely LOVED this hotel !! I don't know if they had some off season prices, or if it's the fact I was staying during the week and not the weekend, but I wasn't expecting something THAT nice for the price I paid ! first, the hotel is very tastefully decorated, from the common areas to the rooms, then the staff is awesome, very helpful, smiling, nice, at reception or in the restaurant or the cleaning staff. The rooms are big, confortable, with private balcony. View is amazing, on the sea or on the cliffs. You probably have amazing sunrise when the weather is fine. They are right next to the free natural swimming pools, and they give us a voucher for the other ones, where you normally have to pay. the rooftop is amazing, with beds to relax, a big chess game and a swimming pool. Unfortunately the weather didn't let me enjoy that. Heated swimming pool in the ground floor too. You need to book for the sauna/hammam. The restaurant was very good, from the breakfast to the diner.

A very nice hotel! We probably got one of the best rooms in the hotel with ocean and Mountain Views! The front desk lady (who lived in Paris) was AMAZING! And the best part of our stay! We will forever remember her and her hospitality!! Thank you! Ps. The natural pool is right outside the hotel ( they will provide a beach towel if you are nice ;))

The place had everything that we needed, it was very clean. The house offers a beautiful mountain wiev. Ribeira de Janela village is built on a steep mountain, Quinta House is close to the top of it. We could (not that easily) walk down there but had no power to walk up. The wiew at the ocean is amazing! There is a small bar on the top and a small cafe and shop down the mountain. The host Vania was very kind and helpful. Since we traveled without a car, the Vania offered to meet us and collect our backpacks in Porto Moniz, offered (free of charge) to drive us to Fanal Forest and up the mountain after we walked down, as well as bring something from the shop for dinner. PS Vania is an animal rescuer and money she gets from renting the apartment is spent for that purpose.

It was the best stay we had. Everything was perfect 😍 The house are fully furnished, there were more than we expected, a lot details which we found at the house did our stay comfortable. Last but not least location is super, 10 min by car to the ocean. Highly recommend this place. I even will say the point should be 11 of 10. Thanks that did our vacation so comfortable 💓
