The location was awesome, centrally located and walking distance to everything you need to do/experience downtown. The hotel is definitely “boutique” and funky. having solid shutters for the windows is a brilliant idea to shutter out any unwanted street noise. Lidia C. at the front desk was an extremely good host providing assistance in locating suitable parking for our car. My wife & I have stayed in well over 200 hotel/motel/inns during the past 5 years of travel throughout Europe and this hotel rates in the top 20

This is a brand new hotel so there are a few tiny details not yet complete - but this is very forgivable as everything has been finished to a high standard. The owner, manager and staff are all charming and put themselves out to make our stay an absolute pleasure. Cannot praise enough!!

Very nice hotel with a very relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was very good, and the dinning hall itself is really nice with a great view to the garden. We had an overnight stay as a starting point to our journey to Douro valley after arrived from Lisbon, and it was perfect for us.
