I was very very impressed with the apartment everything you needed was there from towels to cooking wear and extra bedding for the cold nights, free WiFi too can’t fault it loved my stay at Cantinho da Quinta and a very good host nearby if needed to, well recommend .

Hospitable stay in this beautiful home just north of the village on our walk of the Camino Torres (on our route). Although a couple of kilometres north of town, there is a kitchenette with a fridge available for use by guests, which was helpful. The communal area is beautifully decorated and very comfortable with table & sofa seating. A gorgeous pool at the back of the property for better weather days. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, a comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Beautiful wooden floors. Everything was immaculate. Very quiet pretty countryside. Staying here with a car or even using the local taxi service would be very convenient to explore the local area from.

The Quinta de S.Bernardo was an absolutely amazing experience. The hotel staff were extremely tentative, serviced-minded and friendly and the team really made us fell like we were home. The facilities were beautiful and the nature surrounding the hotel was breath-taking. The food was equally wonderful. We enjoyed the pool, but also that there were possibilities to do activities such as kayaking, biking, etc. Overall it was a excellent experience! We will be coming back :)

Exceptional view,extremely nice and helpful personal, they even offer to send us back a coat we forgot! Very nice breakfast and everything is in a very unique rustic style without losing any bit of comfort! I would like to come back in summer and enjoy the weather in the amazing pool with river views!

    I am so thankful this small hotel was recommended to us.

    I am so thankful this small hotel was recommended to us. Our host,Felipe was by far the most gracious person we encountered during are time in Portugal. The hotel was warm with so many extra touches to make you feel at home, and our room had a fantastic view of the Douro River. There was an excellent breakfast each morning. The house cat,Mia was a kick. If you are in the Douro, I highly recommend you stay at Imaginario d'El-Rei.

    The location in Duro is breathtaking.

    The location in Duro is breathtaking. Casa de Calinhas is perfect for staying one night. They recommend restaurants and wineries to visit. Idillic day. Village is very small and up windy roads in the mountain, but restaurant have delicious homemade cuisine.

    I spend about 3 months a year staying in hotels around the world on holidays. Quinta do Bosque is one of those rare hotels/villas where u can’t find fault! Everything superb. Beautifully decorated, outstanding breakfast, comfortable mattress, soft sheets and they also provide a set menu for dinner (changing daily - local produce) which was fantastic. Thank you so much for having us, we will be back!

    Douro Scala is a great hotel to escape for a couple's weekend! Quiet location, great views, lovely pool area and the food was amazing! Highly recommend to recharge and enjoy a few days as a couple!
