A great place to get to know locals. It is a step back in time to 20 or 30 years ago. surrounded by the beautiful nature of Gerês. The host were friendly and accommodating. The pool allowed fun times and privacy.

A wonderful family run hotel in a gorgeous area. The father and son owners were very helpful, and we loved their recommendations for a hike (the Pont Misarela) and dinner (Hostel do Geres). They stoked a fire in the communal area in the evening, and it was a very comfortable place to have a drink and relax. We would love to return!

It’s a roadside hotel with its own restaurant. Super helpful staff. We had a last minute booking as the other place we booked turned out to be unlivable. They make breakfast. Omlet/cheeses/local ham/veggies. All nice and fresh.

    village is really in the middle of nowhere, the parking spot...

    village is really in the middle of nowhere, the parking spot is a 10 minute walk away so you will want to drop of your bags, very tiny narrow cobbled streets through the village. Buy groceries in advance, no shops in the village except an excellent bakery
