Situated just next to the beach, the property is walking distance to other amenities in the area. The room is comfortable and well furnished with services such as kettle, coffee etc. The hotel as an excellent gym with all the equipment and weights that one would expect only in an urban business hotel. The sauna and in door pool is also nice. Great breakfast spread too.

Location of the hotel is fantastic. The room was nice with spectacular sea view. Hotel personnel were very friendly. Both restaurants (rooftop and sea view) were of high quality. Especially japanese type rooftop restaurant very good. Easy access from the hotel to the pools.

A very nice hotel! We probably got one of the best rooms in the hotel with ocean and Mountain Views! The front desk lady (who lived in Paris) was AMAZING! And the best part of our stay! We will forever remember her and her hospitality!! Thank you! Ps. The natural pool is right outside the hotel ( they will provide a beach towel if you are nice ;))

Lovely big comfy bed, great bathroom, bath robes, enormous flat screen TV, minifridge/bar, delicious breakfast with lots of choice, restaurant also great for snacks & meals...the food was delicius! We requested a kettle that was provided without any bother. Nice wee balcony and furniture outside to relax. We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very close to Busstop.

The shower is amazing, the apartment is luxurious. The breakfast is a walk away to the oceanfront in a sister hotel, and an amazing view. You also get to share the spa with another sister hotel. Amazing sauna, jacuzzi, pool.

We were welcomed on arrival by the owners, who live downstairs, and they ensured we were in and answered any questions we had. They were friendly and helpful, sourcing the patio furniture so we could enjoy the view. The property itself is stunning. Exceptionally clean and well-furnished, it was quite a little home-from-home. It is decorated to a high standard and has everything you need. The little touches like blankets for sitting out in the evening and enjoying the view, plus washing liquid and softener for easy washing, made all the difference. The kitchen has everything you might need to cook, the bathroom is clean and spacious, and the bedrooms are comfortably furnished and spacious. Outside, the views are incredible. Perfectly placed at the top of the hill in Porto Moniz, you can enjoy the tranquillity, as well as access some local levadas, including PR15 Vereda da Ribeira da Janela. There is a small but outstanding restaurant just two minutes walk from the apartment; you can order anything on the menu for takeaway to enjoy on the terrace. The food is delicious and cheap - it's a must. We had a car, but the bus seems to run quite regularly down to Porto Moniz, where there are numerous restaurants and the Natural Pools. The apartment is ideally located for exploring the north of the island, including Seixal and Fanal. We stayed in various places across the island, but this was by far our favourite, a real gem.

This property in Porto Moniz is a true gem! Its location is ideal, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and easy access to the charming, well-maintained town. The natural pools are perfect for relaxing after a day of trekking. The house is newly built, beautifully designed, and meticulously maintained, with all the essentials provided, including a Nespresso machine, which was a nice touch. It’s just a 2-minute drive or a 5-minute walk from the main hotel, allowing you to enjoy peace and tranquility while still having access to all hotel amenities. The rooftop pool offers an amazing panoramic view, ideal for unwinding. Despite being a separate property, guests can take full advantage of the hotel's services, which is a major plus. The staff was incredibly kind and responsive, quickly resolving a small issue we had. A special mention goes to the abundant breakfast, packed with fresh, local products that made the stay even more enjoyable.

    We come here to enjoy the natural pools we were too tired upon arrival. But next morning was perfect, no crowds,peaceful. There are enough restaurants to choose from. Please be aware that some of them close their kitchens around 4pm

    Stunning scenery. Great for hiking.

    Stunning scenery. Great for hiking. Weather is changeable and was cooler than UK at the time we visited (April into May), so take a range of clothing in case of cooler days. Jeep trips to hiking trails are a great idea. you get to see places you wouldn't stumble upon left to your own devices. Overall a rally nice spring break in stunning surroundings. Just let down by poor customer service in some of the eateries.

    We stopped at Fanal forest on the way to Porto Moniz.

    We stopped at Fanal forest on the way to Porto Moniz. We swam in the pools upon arrival. We were fortunate to have a beautiful sunny day in the winter which made it ideal for swimming and walking around.

    Morning coffee and cake at the little bar outside the entrance to the bigger supermarket. Exploring the upper town and climbing the winding road up the hill for great views. Sitting on a bollard in the harbour watching old men fishing, people messing about on boats, schools of fish in the deep and very clear water, even having a harbour porpoise playing near where I was sitting. Exploring the natural bathing pools at the eastern end of the promenade, swimming with schools of fish keeping you company and then sitting with a beer in the sun at the cafe nearby.

    We set up at 35 day European vacation.

    We set up at 35 day European vacation. We had never heard of Madeira before this. It ended up being truly the highlight of the whole 35 days vacation. Literally every moment was exciting or truly relaxing while we were in Porto Moniz. This is to whoever may be considering Porto Moniz. No games, you’re not going to find a better place to get happy.

    The place was quite crowded even of the main season. During the TOP season it will be not a good choice for me. But was nice for a short off-season stay. The weather on the north of the island is a bit less sunny.

    Super comfy beds, beautiful balcony view, great infinity pool at the top of hotel. During our stay hotel didn't look overcrowded, which was also a thing we liked - finding a place at the indoor/outdoor pools or breakfast was never a problem. Super friendly staff, had some welcoming gifts for us, helped us with everything we needed. We booked this hotel to relax after all the exploring we did on Madeira. We were really happy that we decided to choose this hotel - the stay was top-notch.

    We have chosen this accommodation for the second time. The suite is extra large, has two terraces with a fantastic view of Porto Moniz. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, there is a microwave oven as well as a dishwasher and a washing machine. There is a fireplace in the living room for cold evenings. The beds are comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by a bottle of Madeira wine and cookies prepared for us. Thank you :-)

    Amazing location, nice clean rooms, friendly and helpful stuff, good breakfast. We book a shuttle service from the airport with them, and everything was on time and good communication with the hotel stuff. We also enjoyed our small balcony. Stayed for only 1 night, we started our island crossing from there. Would definitely book it again, for our next visit to Madeira.

    Location: Nice family oriented part of Porto Moniz, in the quiet part, but close to the pools. Enough space so it did not feel crowded with 4 people. Enough space for suitcases to be spread out. Nice festival at the sea with friendly people.
