Not much to do, in my opinion there are much nicer places to visit. Nicer beaches with warmer water. Parking is a huge problem and the locals do not like even trying to communicate in English. Very clean, friendly area with plenty options for food, shops, supermarkets, all within walking distance. the beach front is excellent. This is a popular resort with Portuguese families who make up the huge majority of visitors here - not many Brits and not much English spoken. Big clean beaches - sea very cold even in July, Huge activity on the beach - these people play Basketball and Beach Volleyball all day and all night!
