I loved this hotel. It was really clean, bright and very well designed inside. The outside was beautiful with its tiled exterior. One of the nicest places we've stayed. The breakfast was great too. The lady who served us was really nice, the breakfast exceptional. She couldn't do enough for us , a real asset to the hotel! Free public parking just a few steps away from the hotel. Self check in which was very efficient. I rang the host who was very quick to respond and answered my questions.

Everything was excellent. The room was fantastic, cleaning outstanding, with all we need for a get away, location easy to track, the staff was amazing contacting us and make sure everything was fine during our stay. Also with everything for the breakfast in the room and bread delivered early morning to each door.

The shared living/dinning room is full of character keeping some old furniture and the original stone building. The hosts always helpful, kept good company and the service was good. They gave good advice about the area with places to visit and explore around. The outdoor space offers a lot to explore and different settings to have a rest, always surrounded by nature. It has a natural spring that flows into a natural rock pool and into a lake. Beautiful!

The view from the balcony was outstanding. Restaurant food was delicious - in fact, everything was exceptional. Rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Having the use of a kitchen was an added bonus.

    It was beautiful, we felt as though we were in the heart of...

    It was beautiful, we felt as though we were in the heart of Portugal. It wasn't touristy, and all the local people we encountered were friendly and polite. We hired a car and the roads were great, very few cars and pretty direct routes to where we were going, with beautiful scenery all around. We were about an hour and a half drive from the nearest beach, but that was no hardship at all, even though the weather was super sunny, as there are so many beautiful river spots close by to picnic, paddle or swim.
