Everything. The location, the accommodation, the pool, the attention to detail. We parked up the car for a few days, got an online taxi to Lisbon River cruise station. A FRS 2hr leisurely cruise on the river, hopped off for a lovely meal and back via train/taxi. Very relaxing and a surprisingly cheap day out. Also the Pizza/Pasta place in town was very good.

Amazing property and location, really stunning and you can go up into try windmill, which has been laid out like a museum. It was a delight for the children. Helpful staff, spotless and everything thoughtfully provided. Breakfast was delivered in a sweet little basket, there was plenty of it and all nice quality stuff. Great stay all round.

    The property is part of three buildings on a gated residence...

    The property is part of three buildings on a gated residence. The owners live in one house the manager in another and the third is for rent. The owners never showed their face, never said hello or checked to see if we had everything. Not essential but would have been nice especially as their dogs did and their children shared the pool. Not a problem but would have been nice to know in advance. Sadly the kitchen was plagued with flies on arrival which largely disappeared by the time we left but that was not their fault - it happens in the countryside. It was hot but there were only two stand up fans in the whole property so we bought a third for the bedroom at night. There was no information about the local area as is usual. best restaurants, sights to see or events etc which would have been helpful. Overall we had a great time in a lovely house.

    A lot of detail and creative was used to design the personal rooms as well as the common dining room. The host was very forthcoming and served a complete breakfast. All in all we had a nice stay.
