The two sisters running the hotel were very welcoming, going out of their way to look after us. It was out of season and I think we were the only guests. Nevertheless they opened up the games/TV room in the annex for us and served us a wonderful 3 course dinner with wine and coffee for a very reasonable price (also providing vegetarian options for one of our party). The hotel is beautifully positioned by the river, in the centre of the village, with hot springs bubbling up in the public gardens opposite.

Typical Portugese family run business,had basic needs(large fridge,fan,coffee pod machine,tv, cups,saucers,plates,cutlery, own shower room with toilet, patio table /chairs outside door on balcony. Area in stunning for walkers/ cyclists. Basic amenities in the square but owners very very helpful and willing to make stat as comfortable as possible, went out of their way to help me with personally issue. Would recommend if looking for very good value basic accomodation in lovely area. Buses also go to Sao Pedro do sul and viseu city from here. Definitely try the grand spa hotel for €40 for 4 hours of luxury. Had live music artists over 5 days whilst there in the square, good entertainment. Bridges on river lit up at night(magical)😃😃🫶🏻❤️

The owners were so welcoming and always wanted to ensure that we were comfortable and happy. We had such a peaceful time; the views from the apartment were amazing and the pool was such a great place to relax. The place is spotless and everything has been really well thought out. We also had use of a free pool table and table football which the kids loved!

Cleaning lady was very helpful as I had 3 different rooms over my stay there. Room 1 had problems with shower so cleaning lady moved me to an other room. Room 2 was a very nice room but only problem was that at 5am the kitchens next door would make so much noise. So once again was moved by cleaning lady. Room 3 was the best room and on my next booking then I will be asking fir that room.

    The general feeling is very good, mainly concerning SPA and corresponding facilities. The negative point is practical impossibility to speak in English with staff. It was not correct ROOM SERVICE, time wise and quality wise. There is a need to have a charging station for electric cars. Anyway we will recommend the hotel for sure!

    We didn't need a car to get around Termas de Sao Pedro do...

    We didn't need a car to get around Termas de Sao Pedro do Sul, we could walk everywhere. We highly recommend Somos Aldeia Restourant, reservation required and 30 minutes drive. There are no supermarkets there, but its a quick drive into São Pedro do Sul and there are plenty of choices.

    I really enjoyed the trekking trails and visiting the termas...

    I really enjoyed the trekking trails and visiting the termas for a warm bath. I would recommend the night experience bath for a little bit cheaper and less crowded warm water and spa experience. It was a lovely village worth visiting, with a vibrant nature surrounding it.

    Nice little community with few tourists in late September.

    Nice little community with few tourists in late September. Probably very busy during high season. City and streets are very, very clean and well kept. A very safe place to spend your vacation. Everybody are very, very kind and helpful, if you ask for directions or any help. Definitely best if you speak portuguise, but not a problem.
