Borsa was previously the center of Marmarosz mining region.
Borsa was previously the center of Marmarosz mining region. The town developed mainly for miners was not beautiful. If the authorities of Borsa wish to transform the town to the touristic centre, the city must completely be renown. The renovation of old architecture is necessary. Open electric lines along every street must be cancelled, and all cables should be nested under the ground. Much more operations must be done to transform Borsa into a genuine touristic centre. Touristic resorts mus possess a unique and specific atmospere to attract domestic and foreign tourist.. I suggest the authorities of Borsa to visit Mayerhofen in Austrian Tirol or even Zakopane in Poland. At present time Borsa is attractive for those who are interested in mountain hiking. Beautiful landscapes with amazing mountains and nice trails for people who like trekking on mountain routes. But the rest of the city is not so friendly with tourists, just a few restaurants not very attractive.
