The staff were fantastic. We were looked after by Ellie first who was kind and very helpful then by Cristiana (aka Rainbow) who was great company and very helpful. All the staff were just great. The hotel of ice is beautiful and very special. Rooms were well designed, well made and totally iconic. We were able to choose which room was best and had the facilities of the nearby chalet as needed. The food in the evening at the ice hotel was wonderful (really really delicious and well priced). The novelty of this hotel is wonderful. It was romantic, fun and just beautiful. We will absolutely visit again. The meal was the best value for the quality given. The service was excellent by all standards.

The host is amazing! I arrived at 4:00 a.m. and he was waiting for me to show me around. The room I got was small but cozy. There is a shed for your bikes and a washing machine, which is great if you have been traveling for a while.

The house was really clean, comfortable and with all the amenities. The host is amazing! 🙌🏻 She was making sure we feel at home. The lot has three houses and is secluded with a road on one side of the lot and a small river on the other. There is an outside kitchen with all that one needs.

Beautiful clean and well equipped apartment! The view is amazing from the balcony looking at the Trans Fagarasan. The kitchen is very well equipped and the staff is nice. There is free palinka :)The check in and out is very smooth.

The host is a really nice man. He made us feel at home the local store had run out of bread and he got us some of his homemade bread.The area is beautiful there is a direct view of the mountains and we spent atleast 3 h just staring at the mountains from the comfort of the blanket. Highly decommend it. Good value for money

    We booked two nights here because it was not known in advance whether the Transfăgărășan highway would be open in June and maybe it will be necessary to use the cable car (The station is nearby, but it has strange operating principles, the rules are made up on the spot by the staff - be prepared to wait). Although the traffic had already been restored, there were not many people in the hotel. The rooms are basic, but everything is ok.

    Due to bad weather the cable car and road was closed. But the hotel arranged a free of charge booking at the Balea Waterfall hotel. So great service. And I think it would have been beautiful up there at the top. But due to the weather we could not go.
