Lovely stay. Room was clean and spacious. Location more than perfect. Very quiet and relaxing. My husband and I enjoyed the spa a lot. Would deffo recommend. I want to mention that restaurant staff is really accommodating and lovely. Thank you!!!

We've had a pleasant experience having booked two nights at Roser House -Colobita. First of all I would like to mention that the staff was very helpful and friendly as well as the hotel itself was very nice and clean, nothing to complain .The outside pool was amazing , we enjoyed it a lot. Another important aspect is that the SPA was absolutely fantastic, very clean and you could use it as much as you could as long as it was in the time schedule . Thanks and see you next time !

Fantastic location near Colibita Lake. It is a perfect place to relax after one day of driving. Nobody speaks English or Italian, but everybody are really really polite and welcoming. I spent some time with the owner that speaks good Spanish. Room really comfortable and clean, with also a balcony. I ate there for dinner and breakfast, and everything is local and good.

Amazing facilities, positioned in a quiet remote location, yet not too far from Colibita lake and the rest of the resort. Super clean rooms with all amenities needed, sauna, jacuzzi and spa kept in new condition and available at any time , . Our rooms came with large balcony opening to heavenly views and to top it all up , probably the most welcoming kind host we came across in all our travels. . Definitely a gem we will revisit ❤️❤️❤️!!! Gosh, we almost forgot the food .. well impressed again, tasty , varied menu and abundant portions, all of organic local mountain farms provenience . 😋😋😋

    When we arrived, being Sunday, Colibita was quite crowded.

    When we arrived, being Sunday, Colibita was quite crowded. We found a good restaurant, Hanul Colibita, the food was good, Transylvanian specialties, acceptable prices, friendly staff. The view is beautiful, imagine, the melange of mountains and below the lake (sea) with forest on the slopes.

    It is a beautiful lake and place at the bottom of mountains Cǎlimani in eastern Transilvania, the gate of Transilvania some call it! Some roads could be better but the location is quiet and beautiful. I've only been in October which is off season.

    Great for relaxing stays.

    Great for relaxing stays. I would recommend you don't go with little kids, as you will ruin the vacation of those who go for peace and quiet. Clean air. Very quiet. Lake view. Colder even in the hotest days of summer.

    The scenery is amazing and the lake is the same colour as...

    The scenery is amazing and the lake is the same colour as the clear blue sky. However, a 2-3 days stay is enough, as you can't do very much over there. You can rent watersports gear, hike and eat. I saw a lot of villas that are renting bikes, but I have no clue where to bike as half of the main road is under construction and dusty... You don't have a lakefront alley on which you can walk or bike around which is such a pity. The villas are chaotically placed around the lake. If your villa doesn't have lake access, you have a few access points to the lake and they are pretty wild and hidden. 1. Activities: - I recommend the nautical centre in order to rent paddle boats, SUP boards, kayaks and electric motorboats. - Fishermans Resort to rent tandem kayaks, padel boats. Also, if you don't enjoy watersports, they offer a small lake tour with a bigger boat. - I heard you can also take a nice hike to "Tăul Zânelor" 2. Lunch & Dining: Cabana Dani - very nice lake view, friendly staff, best burgers, big sized portions and more than decent prices. !!! Make sure to have cash with you, as the next atm is a 30-minute car ride away and few places accept cards. !!! Ask your host if you can access the accommodation with your type of car... in less than 10 minutes we had to help push two cars up the hill from a lakefront villa, halfway to the main road. !!! Usually, last orders for dinners are around 21.00.

    Beautiful during all seasons.

    Beautiful during all seasons. In the summer you can rent a paddle-boat and see the beauty of this lake, in the spring and autumn the colors reflected in the water mirror are astonishing. The only issue I can mention is the road, but as you read this review they are building a new road so that this issue will not be valid for long time. :) As for the food, a small tip: avoid the restaurants that are right near the lake. They tend to lower the quality of the food/service because they think this can be compensated by the view. Instead, if you have to possibility, drive a bit far and you will not be disappointed. I warmly recommend: Pensiunea Maria, Restaurant Popasul Tihuta andTihuta Retreat.
