The property was on a large block of land with natural beauty surrounding it. It was peaceful and serene. Maria was excellent in every way possible. From greeting us, breakfast (all locally made produce), dinner (Maria’s own recipes) and helping us communicate with attraction opening hours. The whole experience was unforgettable. If ever we return to the Maramures we will definitely stay at Pensiunea Mara. Definitely recommend this property.

The place is really outstanding with a lovely view. Car park is safe and close to the entrance. The lady (Kristina) let us park our enduro bikes in their private garage space. Breakfast and dinner are served as well upon to request. Really nice place to stay.

The room was nice, clean, need was very comfortable. Set dinner menu was really tasty and the breakfast was astonishingly delicious (made of a lot of local home made peoducts). The personnel were really welcoming, friendly and very helpful.

Our stay at Breb Casa Luca was absolutely amazing! We were pleasantly surprised by how everything was so clean and beautifully arranged. Andreea and Mihai are truly wonderful people — warm, kind, and always attentive to our needs. The views are breathtaking, and the atmosphere is peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax and recharge. We appreciated how they constantly checked in to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We are already looking forward to our next stay next year — we can’t wait to return to this little slice of heaven in Maramureș!

Breb is such a special place.. and this is a lovely pensiunea! The owners are a family and I met Mom, Grandma, and the two daughters, one of whom is Teodora. She is the one after whom the pensiunea is named. I opted for room and board ... and they surely kept me well-fed! They also offered my palinka which I could only take in small doses for that is some strong stuff! I wanted a central location to visit this part of Maramures, for there are a number of historic wooden churches in the area and I was lucky enough to meet Father Steffan, who was from the Ieud parish. He got the keys and allowed me inside the wooden church in Manastirea, which is not all that far from Breb so I could peek at the exquisite interior. In any case, there are a lot of picturesque villages and sights in and around Breb.. and Breb itself is a great place to stoll and see traditional ways being lived out every day. And the family at Pensiunea Teodora was so kind and generous. Thank you so much!

    Nice restaurant-hotel - it was very convenient, that we could have both breakfast and dinner here. Decent local food. Nicely furnished rooms with a large balcony facing the distant mountains. Very nice backyard with childrens playground. Very nice, helpful staff trying to do their best for you - they didn't have a washing mashine at the hotel, so they offered to take our dirty clothes and wash them somewhere else!Overall, we definately recommend this place!

    it is newly finished and the room was good with a nice balcony and great view. breakfast was excellent and the hosts were very attentive. we walked in to Desesti and visited the exceptional wood church.
