The resort is dirty, at least the road to the beach. The beach terraces are the worst I've seen—dirty, with questionable service quality. The beach is only partially developed. There are no cafes. The restaurants remain unchanged, with the same communist-era vibe from 30 years ago, making you feel like you've stepped back in time. Eforie Sud seems to have been recently upgraded.
Eforie Sud seems to have been recently upgraded. The beach is clean and wide and in some areas there are a few barriers build around 100m away from the shore, into the sea, reducing the impact of the water currents and making this beach fit for kids and not only. You have a central area, a new promenade area with a wonderful view and near the shopping area - where you have restaurants and markets and so on. Eforie Sud is not big, however it is close to Eforie Nord or Techirghiol lake, where you can check-in for mud treatments. It's a resort between waters (Techirghiol lake and the sea). So the Location is just for people who do Beach-Sleep-Beach with children or for retirees in mind nothing else, there are 3 restaurants one Ok such as BRASERIA CARLOS&DAVID and 3 food canteens, and some doughnuts and ice-cream paces, in the summer season in the evening there is a stage and and a speaker with various DJs until around 10 PM, and everything else is just walking the boardwalk or on the pontoons,Guest review byVladRomania - 6.0

Great weather, we enjoyed the sun and the sea and also the comfortable accommodation at the cottage. But the town itself was dirty and overgrown with weeds, the beach filthy with piles of rubbish not collected for the whole week. I was left with a very poor impression of the municipality service... We stayed in an apartment with a balcony and a view towards the sea (nr 113) and although there was a small mix-up in the beginning everything turned out great in the end. The staff was very helpful and polite, the food was great (Vlad is an extraordinary cook🤘) and the indoor pool is great for sipping a cocktail. The room and the entire place were very clean and well-maintained. It’s located about a 10-minute walk from the sea and also close to the train station, which was really convenient. The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming, and always quick to answer any questions we had by text. The price was also very good for two nights. The bed was extremely comfortable, so I slept like a baby. Air condition works perfectly and a little fridge was a great bonus. Location of the hotel was fantastic for me, the Lake beach was under 10 minutes walking, sea side was under 15 minutes, supermarket and currency exchange were even closer.
