Gheorgheni is a small city, with a fortified church and nice streets, but not more than 3 hours are necessary for visiting it. Even so, it is very well placed, at a reasonable distance from Rosu Lake, Bobsleigh track Lacul Rosu and Bicazului Gorges.Guest review byMihai - 8.0

We used our stay for a visit to the Lacul Rosu and the Bizac Gorge. There is a little walk around the lake, which is a way of escaping the mass of tourist visiting the place in summer. The Bizac Gorge is really outstanding, despite the issue that you can basically only drive through by car.
