What an amazing property. We had a room with a balcony and it was nice to just sit and watch life go by in this lovely place. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and everything was very relaxed. It was like being at home. If you needed any drinks you just helped yourself and told the owner at the end of the stay what you had taken. We had dinner both nights and the owner accommodated me very well being a vegetarian. Would definitely stay again.

I recently stayed at this wonderful accommodation during my visit to Maramureș and it was a nice experience. The location is perfect, offering both peace and easy access to the region’s main attractions. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. The guest house is beautiful, located in a quiet part of the city. So for sure you will have a good rest and sleep. Has everything you need , barbecue, hot tub, space to stay outside and relax . The owners are very kind, and the food was delicious 😋 Everything was great 👌 highly recommended 👌 For sure, I will be back for more days to fully experience the Maramureș. Thank you

I was traveling through Maramures to visit some of the beautiful, centuries-old wooden churches they have in the region. Ieud was one on my list as were Poienile Izei and Barsana, which are all very close to here. In any case, this lodging is located on the main road in Sieu, so was super-easy to find. They have a prominent sign out front near their gate if the GPS is failing. In any case, the owners are an extremely kind couple, willing to chat and share some palinka. From their backyard, one can "spy" on the neighbors who have sheep, cows, chickens, and a host of other livestock. I thought the room was super-comfortable, the adjoining bathroom was great, and I slept very soundly. There was plenty of space to car my rental car out back as well.
