Beautiful, quiet area with a lovely view on the Fagaras mountains, lots of fortified churches within an hour drive. We drove and hiked to the Negoiu cabin and visited also a waterfall around there. We ate every evening at the place where we stayed (Pensiunea Negoiu) as the food was very good, and the atmosphere in the garden was lovely.Guest review byMirelaRomania - 8.0
Porombacu de Sus is a great village to start if you want to...
Porombacu de Sus is a great village to start if you want to hike in the Fagars mountains. From here you can hike to the Negoiu peak on the nordic west face. Also, you can reach the Negoiu cabin but pay attention that the road to the cabin is pretty long and if you have the possibility take a car, after a drive around one hour you can park the car on marble quarry and starting from there you have around two hours hike in the summer conditions to the Negoiu cabin.Guest review byTiplic IrinelRomania
