The place is underrated, has so much potential. While I traveled many times through it, I never stopped for more that a few minutes. But I discovered Rm. A large chunk of the town is just in the famous communist...
A large chunk of the town is just in the famous communist fashion - boring blocks of flats, lots of concrete. Instead there is a part with nice houses and lots of green. There's also a nice park and a huge wandering area in the nature. I recommend the town just for that. Lots of nice places to visit are within one hour driving - both nature and man-made: mountains to climb, gorges, caves, monasteries and churches, folk art.Guest review byMihaiRomania - 10.0
I didn't visit the city. I only slept in Rm. Valcea.
I didn't visit the city. I only slept in Rm. Valcea. I went there for 2 mountain trips at Baile Olanesti- Tisa and Cozia National Park (Stanisoara monastery). I will definily came back in this region.Guest review byAdrianaRomania
