A beautiful medieval city centre and locals seem to be taking pride in their city and wishing to develop it in a pretty and quality way. It’s compact, walkable, and brimming with history, making it perfect for a short getaway or a cultural deep dive. Favourite Places Clock Tower (Turnul cu Ceas): The panoramic view from the top is breathtaking, especially at sunset. Inside, the History Museum adds depth to the experience. Church on the Hill: A peaceful Gothic church with restored frescoes and a serene cemetery behind it. The climb up the Covered Staircase makes the journey feel like a pilgrimage. Citadel Square (Piața Cetății): The heart of the old town, surrounded by quirky buildings like the Stag House and buzzing with street performers. We went to SIghisoara to visit the Citadel and the old town and one day 2 nights was enough as we had visited Viscri, where King Charles has the house.
