We went to SIghisoara to visit the Citadel and the old town and one day 2 nights was enough as we had visited Viscri, where King Charles has the house. Beautiful, charming, fascinating. We loved roaming the streets, eating, visiting sights, and learning about its history. Great restaurants and cafes. Friendly people. We were glad to spend more time here than in Brasov! Sighisoara is much more enchanting and walkable. It is about 1.5 miles from the old town of Sighisoara, which is delightful. A modern and peaceful monastery is only a few miles further along the road, up the valley. It is quiet and the door was left open for us when we arrived. The owner communicated quickly with us through Booking.com and ensured that we had the three separate bedrooms we had requested.
