I had an absolutely spectacular stay at Casa Nicollae in Silvașu de Sus! The house was immaculately clean and beautifully maintained, offering a cozy retreat that immediately made me feel at home. A very comfortable, beautiful, spotless, and well-equipped room with a spacious bathroom featuring a shower. In the room: cupboards, a refrigerator, and a TV, fast Wi-Fi, a small table, and chairs. There is also a small, nicely arranged shared kitchenette available on site. Guests can also enjoy a beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained garden with outdoor furniture, a barbecue, and private parking. The property is located in a quiet and pleasant area. It is an excellent starting point for trips to the Retezat Mountains (about a 30-minute drive to trailheads in Râușor). Many attractions are nearby (within walking distance is the village of Densuș with the oldest stone church in Romania; the area also features a geopark and a bison reserve). An outstanding host – Mira: very professional, helpful, and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend ordering breakfasts, which are based on local products, delicious, and varied (attached photos). Breakfasts prepared by Manuela, the host’s mother, were simply wonderful!
