The hosts are wonderful and helpful people. The room I got was good size(for a single person), clean, matching the descriptions as seen on the pictures, with a comfortable bed. The room could be good enough for a couple as well. The shared bathrooms and other shared areas are also tidy and kept clean. This place influences you in subtle unspoken ways to stay clean, tidy and healthy in your life too. The place(Golden Hostel) is located at a 5 mins walk to a nearby bus station(Jakobsberg) with easy access to important bus routes, and adjacent to the bus station is the Jakobsberg stop for the city train, making the commute to other parts of Stockholm very easy. Around the Golden Hostel, is the Jakobsberg Centrum, a 2 mins walk, where you can easily find nearby markets for your daily cooking and other essentials. I stayed at the Golden Hostel for 17 days, had no problems, making my stay here peaceful and quite comfortable.

The guy at the reception was very helpfull, he explained to us how to get to the city center, the train we had to take. The room was clean, bathroom with a lot of toiletries. Also breakfast was varied. It is a bit far from the center but with the train station 5 minutes from the hotel, it got you directly to the center. And the parking next to the hotel is a plus.

Large grocery store, two restaurants (one Korean/Asian) and bus stop (Sjöbergs Centrum) just outside the door. Ca. 45 minutes to either Stockholm or airport via bus/subway. Self-check in.

    - Mostly friendly and helpful staff (e.g. untimely check-in without additional costs) - Reception open 24 hours The apartments with the service included are in total a good choice if Stockholm City as well as the Countryside are to be discovered. Despite the cons given below, we can recommend the apartments due to the points given in the beginning. They should be considered as holiday apartments without the claim of being a hotel.

    The concept works: room with a kitchenette for an affordable price. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere of an industrial area, but there is a bus stop outside. The reception personnel were helpful and professional. Good gym, although the sauna was broken.
