It's a bit like being in the suburbs, but it is still easy...
It's a bit like being in the suburbs, but it is still easy to get about as the bus leaves from outstide the hotel it is only about 10 mins or so to get to Upplands-Väsby train station. I took a train from there to get to Stockholm city centre (getting off at Stockholm City). The travel ticket allows you 75 mins of travel time so the bus ticket and be used again (including on the train for 75 mins). Note: Stockholm city is literally a couple of mins walk to another station in the city centre called Stockholm Centrum (Stockholm Central Station). I would definitely stay there again! Bonus for me was the grocery store within walking distance. The bed was comfortable. I would have liked to sit on the balcony but it was a bit cold. I liked the quiet area. Note that the room is very basic but for me that was more than enough. I loved that there was a USB outlet by the bed which was thoughtful. The hotel has everything you could expect from a Scandic, including a very good breakfast with a large choice of food. It also has a sauna which is a nice detail. The staff deserves special mention.
